Notes from the Chef, December 15, 2011: Happy Bill of Rights Day!
On this date in 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared Bill of Rights Day, commemorating the 150th anniversary of their ratification. The Bill of Rights guarantees all Americans the freedom of speech, the right to bear arms and to due process, and other rights that we enjoy. We’re celebrating our American freedoms today by serving up some classic American cuisine – Cheeseburgers! Alongside the traditional burger with melted cheese, have a serving of roasted Yukon Gold potatoes and organic broccoli and cauliflower. We hope you enjoy!
